Music has always played a prominent role in Sami Hammi’s life. 
After gaining extensive stage experience with Tölzer Knabenchor (Bad Tölz Boys' Choir), 
he attended Musikgymnasium der Regensburger Domspatzen 
(Music High School run by the renowned Regensburg Cathedral Boys' Choir) 
where he was classically trained in music, from singing classes to learning to play piano, violin and oboe.

Fresh from graduating from high school, Sami received his first composition assignment. He was invited to compose music for films. Following his successes, he then attended Rotterdam Conservatory where he intensively studied composition and piano. 
Upon his return to Munich he completed an internship with Digital Editors Music. His extensive work and recognition as a ghost-writer for various projects soon attracted lots of interests, inviting him to compose music for commercials, main stream television films and series on a large scale, as well as numerous DVD productions and short films.

Since 2003, Sami Hammi has been working as a freelance composer. 
His work includes orchestration, music arrangement and music preparation for various projects across Europe.

Primarily he writes his own musicals. From Germany to London his self-written musicals were always met with standing ovations.
